WATERCOLOURS MASTERCLASS
Have you always wanted to learn how to paint your own dreamy watercolours like a pro? Maybe you want to learn some new skills so that you can make your own cards, hand painted with love, or create some unique pieces for your walls.
This masterclass, taught by local artist Lara Pisarek will cover watercolour techniques including mixing, shading, layering and composition. Lara has a lovely teaching style, taking you through step by step and just maybe, getting you to surprise yourself with what you create.
With 3 hours you'll start by having a play and getting used to the paints. Then Lara will take you through a guided piece, similar to the wildflowers in our pictures below. Finally you will get a chance to do your own piece with as little or as much support and guidance from Lara that you want. Paint a seascape, a plant, your pet, bring some inspo with you - it's up to you.
By the end of this relaxed and fun workshop, you’ll be taking home 2 gorgeous masterpieces, along with newly equipped skills and a discovered love for watercolour painting. What better way to wind down your weekend then to indulge in creating something beautiful.
Bring your partner, your mate or your mum and enjoy. We will supply herbal tea and some teacake and you are welcome to bring along any other snacks or drinks that you may like.

Workshop Terms and Conditions
General
We understand that life moves fast and things can change, so we want to be clear about our terms and conditions up front.
Your seat is secured once we receive full payment so check your email address carefully and look out for an automated confirmation email. If you didn't receive a confirmation email after your payment, check your junk mail. Otherwise, contact us at hello@thecraftparlour.com.au.
Please set a reminder and double-check workshop dates and times here through our website. We do not send reminder emails. You have purchased a ticket and we have held this spot for you, purchased materials and turned others away, so we can not issue credits or a refund if you do not attend. Credits or Transfers
You can transfer your ticket to another workshop, providing you give us 7 or more days notice. You can only transfer a ticket once. If the new workshop is a higher cost, you will need to pay the difference. If the new workshop is a lesser cost, we will provide a gift card for the difference.
If there is no suitable workshop, you can transfer your ticket to a gift card. The gift card will be for your ticket price, excluding the booking fee and is valid for 12 months.
If you can no longer make a class and it is less than 7 days away, we have already purchased materials and it is too late for us to resell your ticket. We encourage you to send a friend along to take your spot or gift someone your ticket and make their day!
In some cases we may be able to give you the materials to complete the workshop at home. Please email us at hello@thecraftparlour.com.au to check.
Refunds
We cannot provide a refund due to changes in your circumstances or availability.
We will offer you the choice of a refund or gift card of the ticket price, including booking fee, if we cancel a workshop. The refund or gift card will not exceed the purchase price.
Workshop Cancellations
As you would expect, we have class minimums to meet. If we do not meet them and need to cancel a class, we may do so at any time, usually a day or two before the scheduled workshop.
If we cancel or reschedule your workshop for any reason, you will be offered the choice of a refund or a gift card to the value of your ticket price, including booking fee.
Photography and Filming
We may wish to photograph or film the workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. You consent to us (or any other person attending the workshop) photographing or filming you and any persons attending the workshop with you.
Please speak to our artist or host in the studio if you do not wish to be photographed.
