CREATIVE TREAT DAY
For: Females, aged 16+
Hands up if your body, mind and soul needs a day off, a day for yourself, a day to create. Put your phone on mute, grab your bestie, your sister, your mum, your daughter, or come on your own and take a self-care day, a day to re-charge and shine a light on the goddess that you are.
This is a full day event, 9am - 4pm on Sunday 1st November.
- We will start with a yoga session. The focus will be on mindful slow moving and some stretching. The vibe will be chilled.
- Then we will play with clay, getting out of our heads and making your own unique piece. You can make a mug, our popular chip and dip plate, a wall pocket/shelf, whatever you wish.
- Next we will have fresh and healthy lunch options, plus some treats (of course!) and our awesome herbal tea.
- We will end our day playing with watercolours - creating a portrait/self-portrait with a twist - a unique world in your hair. Yours may look a little like some of the images here or not at all - creative freedom is always on the table.
As we are together all day, there's time to connect and meet other lovely humans. We will also have a gift bag with some handmade treats for you.

Yoga - We will begin the day with gentle breathing and stretching to ease us into the day ahead. Elizabeth will help us get the blood and energy flowing smoothly through our bodies and put us in a relaxed, creative state of mind.
Morning tea is included with our yummy hibiscus lemon myrtle herbal tea from Mayde Tea.
Clay Play - We will spend 2.5 hours playing with a kilo of clay. You can make what you wish and we will help you with tips and suggestions to make sure your pieces look great AND survive the kiln. You could make and paint 2 mugs, a chip and dip plate, a serving plate, some wall art, so many options. Your pieces will be bisque-fired, glazed and glaze fired before being returned for you to collect and treasure within 4-5 weeks.
Lunch is included and we are partnering with a local caterer. Please advise any special dietary needs when booking.
Watercolours - In this 2.5 hour session, local artist Belinda Suzette will teach you watercolour techniques and methods to create your portrait and the creatures who inhabit it. Painting with watercolours is very forgiving, so use your imagination, your piece can be as realistic, abstract or quirky as you like. Belinda is a cross-disciplinary folk artist, illustrator and designer inspired by culture, nature and celebration. She is an excellent teacher, this is a fun piece and you are guaranteed to amaze yourself!

Workshop Terms and Conditions
General
We understand that life moves fast and things can change, so we want to be clear about our terms and conditions up front.
Your seat is secured once we receive full payment so check your email address carefully and look out for an automated confirmation email. If you didn't receive a confirmation email after your payment, check your junk mail. Otherwise, contact us at hello@thecraftparlour.com.au.
Please set a reminder and double-check workshop dates and times here through our website. We do not send reminder emails. You have purchased a ticket and we have held this spot for you, purchased materials and turned others away, so we can not issue credits or a refund if you do not attend. Credits or Transfers
You can transfer your ticket to another workshop, providing you give us 7 or more days notice. You can only transfer a ticket once. If the new workshop is a higher cost, you will need to pay the difference. If the new workshop is a lesser cost, we will provide a gift card for the difference.
If there is no suitable workshop, you can transfer your ticket to a gift card. The gift card will be for your ticket price, and is valid for 12 months.
If you can no longer make a class and it is less than 7 days away, we have already purchased materials and it is too late for us to resell your ticket. We encourage you to send a friend along to take your spot or gift someone your ticket and make their day!
In some cases we may be able to give you the materials to complete the workshop at home. Please email us at hello@thecraftparlour.com.au to check.
Refunds
We cannot provide a refund due to changes in your circumstances or availability.
We will offer you the choice of a refund or gift card of the value of the ticket price if we cancel a workshop. The refund or gift card will not exceed the purchase price.
Workshop Cancellations
As you would expect, we have class minimums to meet. If we do not meet them and need to cancel a class, we may do so at any time, usually a day or two before the scheduled workshop.
If we cancel or reschedule your workshop for any reason, you will be offered the choice of another workshop, a refund or a gift card of the value of your ticket price.
Photography and Filming
We may wish to photograph or film the workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. You consent to us (or any other person attending the workshop) photographing or filming you and any persons attending the workshop with you.
Please speak to our artist or host in the studio if you do not wish to be photographed.
